The second Coast Along for WaterAid event took place on Saturday 15 September 2007.

It was a great day out, the weather was amazing, and at least £50,000 has been pledged for WaterAid.

More about the Challenge

The South West Coast Path Association (SWCPA) has divided 630 miles of Britain's most dramatic coastline, from Minehead to Poole, into 70 sections of between five and 15 miles in length.

Each section is graded as easy, moderate, strenuous or severe, so walkers can choose a path that suits their level of fitness. Some of the path sections are suitable for use by wheelchairs and buggies.

Spectacular coastal scenery awaits
The spectacular North Devon coast

We're with you every step of the way!

About the South West Coast Path

At 630 miles, the South West Coast Path is Britain's longest National Trail. It runs from Minehead in Somerset to South Haven Point near Poole, Dorset and includes all 95 miles of the Dorset and East Devon World Heritage Site known as the Jurassic Coast. To find out more about the South West Coast Path please visit National Trail or South West Coast Path Association.

Like all our National Trails, it is created and largely funded by the Countryside Agency and managed by highway authorities and the National Trust.

The South West Coast Path Association was formed in 1973 and provides information to help path users enjoy the Path. To find out more about the paths please visit the South West Coast Path Association website at www.swcp.org.uk where you can order a copy of the South West Coast Path Guide.

WaterAid would like to thank Eric Wallis and the South West Coast Path Association for their support in making this event possible.
