FAQs

Why is there a registration fee and what do I get for it?

In return for your registration fee you will be provided with a Coast Along for WaterAid t-shirt, personalised online fundraising page, activities to take part in on your walk and support from our experienced Events Team. If taking part in a hub walk, you will also have the opportunity to join together with other WaterAid supporters, be supported on the day by WaterAid representatives and have a lovely post-walk reception!

What is the registration fee?

£10 for adults and £5 for over 5 year olds. Under 5 year olds go free.

What is the fundraising target?

It is £50 for all over 18s with children raising what they can to help the world’s poorest communities.

I have set up my team but would like to add more team members, how can I do this?

The team leader will need to be responsible for adding additional team members. As the team leader you will need to click on ‘Team’ at the top of the fundraising page. You then click ‘get team members’ on the right hand side. This allows you to send out an invite to other team members, which has a link through to the ‘Join Team’ page.

I have registered but need to change my own details, how do I do this?

Team Leaders can edit their details by clicking on the ‘Profile’ tab on their fundraising page when they have logged in.

Team Members get an email with the link to inform them that they have been registered – they can then follow this link to reset their password and can then use the ‘Profile’ tab to amend their details.

Of course! Unless specified otherwise on the path information page. Please always abide by the Countryside Code at all times.

Can I take my child in a pushchair on an organised walk?

When you are registering for a WaterAid walk on our website, there is a short synopsis of the walk which you can read before you go to the registration page, this will let you know if it is possible to take a pushchair on the walk.
