This is a marshalled 10 mile walk from Exceat that follows the South Downs Way down to the cliffs at Seven Sisters and along the cliff top to Birling Gap. There are some fairly steep climbs along the cliff top but the stunning views of the rolling white cliffs are worth the effort!

A perfect place to take a rest is at the café half way round called The Birling Gap Café where you can grab a spot of lunch or you can drop down onto the beach and have a picnic! They do a fantastic fish and chips which is a great way to reward yourself after your cliff top walk. The route then turns inland and begins its return via the picturesque village East Dean and Friston Forest.

At the finish, you will be treated to a well deserved cream tea and homemade cakes, courtesy of the Farmhouse Restaurant based at Exceat, providing a great end to the day!
